V9.0 is their newest version and you might not be able to find v8. You would have to install v8 first then get the updates to v8.1.5. This means if you install v8.1.5 and had your original licence key it might not accept that key. I think your original install & licence key was for v8 and Adobe gave a couple of free updates to v8.1.5. From your first post you said the program showed v8 but then in control panel it showed v8.1.5. You might be able to install v8.1.5 but unless you have the licence key I don't think you will have much success.
